WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day, on June 5, was created by the United Nations (UN) in 1972 to attract the attention of people and governments.

In Brazil, since 1981 the first week of June was instituted as the National Environment Week, which aims to promote community participation in the preservation of Brazil's natural heritage.

BUT WHAT WE REALLY ARE DOING

We know the importance of being aware and caring for the environment, starting with attitudes in our own homes. Not littering nature is the first of many good practices that can help the environment.

IN BRAZIL

According to data from a study carried out by the Business Association for Recycling (CEMPRE), Brazil produces more than 240 thousand tons of garbage per day, of which 45% is recyclable. However, the country recycles only 2% of the urban waste produced.

The importance of recycling is also linked to sustainable development, which encompasses not only the environment, but also social and economic aspects. This is because, when we dispose of the products properly, we add value to the process and the material, since we improve the reuse rates, lower the production cost and stimulate the growth of recycling.

ROLE OF COMPANIES IN THIS PROCESS

In recent years, many companies have realized that preserving the environment and promoting sustainable development is also preserving human life itself, since the deforestation of forests and pollution of the atmosphere, for example, directly impact life on the Planet.

Disasters like the dams of Minas Gerais and the extinction of species are very serious and worrying consequences. But in addition, they made society cover companies with a position and actions that help the environment, otherwise they lose credibility and become targets of the population.

SEIBT and the ENVIRONMENT

One of our biggest motivators to be who we are today is to be able to provide intelligent recycling solutions, with complete processes, from beginning to end. We work with more than 50 models of machines, including mills, agglomerators, shredders, extruders, shredders, exhaust fans, silos, all made to measure for your needs.
